Clinical experience of using ValeVita Rinogel Spray for children with acute rhinosinusitis

Abstract
The objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of the therapeutic effect, general and local tolerability of ValeVita Rinogel Spray in topical use in children with acute rhinosinusitis (ARS).
Materials and methods. The clinical study included 30 children with OCR who were outpatient in the ENT department of the Kyiv City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1. There were 19 boys, 11 girls, the age range was 7 to 12 years, the average age was 9, 3±0.5 years. For the examination of patients with ARS in the treatment, various clinical diagnostic methods were used. Efficacy of topical application of ValeVita Rinogel Spray was evaluated by descending clinical manifestations of the course of the disease in children on the basis of a rhinoscopic and endoscopic study.
Results. Based on the results of the monitoring of the rhinoscopic picture in children with ARS patients, a significantly positive dynamics was revealed already in the first three days of monitoring patients. During the whole period of observation, there were no complications, side effects associated with the use of ValeVita Rinogel Spray. The majority of patients (25 children) evaluated the local tolerance of the drug as «good» and «satisfactory».
Сonclusion. ValeVita Rinogel Spray is well tolerated and safe for use in children aged 7 to 12 years with complex treatment of acute rhinosinusitis, does not cause local and general pathological changes in the body, which is confirmed by clinical examination of patients.
