Abstract

The objective: to study the effeciency and feasibility of intcluding Regidron Optim and Kuplaton in complex regimens of patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) in the treatment on an outpatient basis. Patients and methods. The study involved 62 patients with CP, 15 women and 47 men, average age was 50,71±1,71 years. The patients were divided into two randomized comparison groups. First (I) group received only basic therapy. II group additionally took studied drugs. The data of general clinical investigations, laboratory and instrumen tal parameters were studied during treatment. Results. Regress of subjective and objective manifestations of CP was more rapid in patients of group II. Also there were a significant improvement in functional status of pancreas and organs of hepatobil iary zone in group II. There was fast reducing of amylase level in serum and urine, total bilirubin and transaminase levels in patients of this group. This changes statistically decreased in comparison with indica tors before treatment and with parameters of first examined group. Conclusion. Thus, the inclusion of Regidron Optim and Kuplaton in complex treatment regimens of patients with chronic pancreatitis allowed to significantly accelerate the dynamics of subjective and objective symptoms of diseases. It improves laboratory and instrumen tal performance. Also it provides a better understanding between doc tor and patient, which significantly differ from patients receiving only basic therapy.
