Administration of blood transfusion assistance into the military medicalestablishments duringthe armed conflicts

Abstract


The blood service is one of the most important components of health protection of military personnel, which ensures the provision of neces sary transfusion aid in military medicalestablishments.

The objective: to conduct a retrospective analysis of blood transfu sions provision of assistance on materials of reports of military med icalestablishments for stocking and transfusion facilities, as well as data analysis of literature sources on the development of blood trans fusion as a method of medical care during the wars and armed conflicts.

Patients and methods. Researched requirements of military med icalestablishments of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the donor blood, its components and plasma preparations, analyzed the donation for various periods, including during the ATO. Examined donors from among civilians and military personnel involved in the donor move ment in different parts of the AFU and representatives of the medical service. Studied modern attitude to the contraindications for donation and the issues associated with syncope.

Results. The results of the development and scientific justification of the need for a comprehensive hemotransfusions maintenance of mili tary medicalestablishments of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine transfusion means, including selection of donors, preparation of quali ty blood components, blood transfusions to optimise the structure of services and the definition of criteria of its effectiveness.

Conclusion. Optimized contraindications to donation allow differen tial taking into account modern requirements to approach the acquisi tion of donor staff in the AFU. Catering for the donor, but also fore casting, prevention and relief of syncopal donors will allow us to rec ommend and use these indicators in the AFU.
